It's only fitting that the 52th post would be about DC's New 52 title. The Huntress written by Paul Levitz (Wonder Woman) and art by Marcus To (Red Robin) is a six issue miniseries that starts in Italy as Helena Bertinelli gets involved with the local crime bosses. Having lost her family to one in Gotham City (not that it's told here) it's nothing new.
The issue was okay, there's nothing really excitting or memorable about it which is a shame given the overall length. It's a shame Barbara Gordon is back as Batgirl instead of Oracle, she would have brought more to this. Anyways, the story starts in Naples and Helena comments on how it stinks there. The garbage business is under the command of mobsters who can dictate their terms like so. We get more social commentary by mentioning the italian prime minister Berlusconi (who given the prostitution angle of the story is quite fitting) and how he and all men can be distracted easily with feminine charms.
